摘要:

甜菜碱作为一种天然存在的化合物,其独特的生物化学特性和多种功能使其在神经退行性疾病、神经炎症以及神经损伤的治疗中具有潜在的应用价值。甜菜碱具有促进同型半胱氨酸代谢,降低氧化应激水平,调节γ-氨基丁酸表达等作用,对包括阿尔茨海默病、抑郁症、帕金森综合征等多种神经系统疾病均起到一定的治疗作用,且不良反应较小。然而,目前关于甜菜碱在神经保护方面的研究尚处于初级阶段,还需要进一步探索其作用机制和最佳应用方案。综述了甜菜碱在神经保护领域的研究进展,以期为神经系统疾病的治疗提供新的思路和方法。

Abstract:

As a naturally occurring compound, betaine has attracted widespread attention in the field of neuroprotection in recent years. The unique biochemical properties and multiple functions of betaine make it has potential application value in the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases, neuroinflammation and nerve injury. Betaine has the functions of promoting the metabolism of homocysteine, reducing the level of oxidative stress, regulating the expression of γ-aminobutyric acid, etc. It has a therapeutic role in various neurological diseases such as Alzheimer's disease, depression, and Parkinson's disease, with relatively minor side effects. However, current research on the neuroprotective effects of betaine is still in its infancy, and further exploration is needed to understand its mechanism of action and optimal application scenarios. The article reviewed the research progress on the neuro protective effects of betaine, aiming to provide new ideas and methods for the treatment of neurological diseases.
