Abstract: Epstein-Barr virus(EBV), as one of the viruses with high infection rate worldwide, is related to the occurrence of nasopharyngeal cancer, gastric cancer, breast cancer, cervical cancer and many other tumors. Toll-like receptors (TLRs) as the components of the innate immune system, play important roles in the process of the body  defending against the virus. When the body is stimulated by EBV, it can trigger the innate immune response by activating the TLRs signaling pathway, so as to control the further infection of EBV. But EBV can also regulate host immune through a series of pathways to maintain its own persistent infection in the host. Therefore, the study on the interaction mechanism between EBV and innate immune TLRs signaling pathway is of great significance to further elucidate the regulatory mechanism of latent and lytic infection of EBV and its pathogenicity. The progress on the interaction between EBV and TLRs signaling pathway was summarized in order to provide some references to develop new therapeutic targets of EBV and improve the clinical program of TLRs agonists.
