摘要: 阿根廷仍然是转基因作物的第三大生产国,产量占全球转基因作物产量的14%。阿根廷研究人员研发的抗病毒土豆和抗旱大豆两个转基因事件(genetically engineered,GE)得到最终批准。中国转基因事件的批准仍然是阿根廷外贸的首要任务。种子专营权制度仍然是本国的重要问题;阿根廷农业部向国会提交了一项新的《种子法》提案。

Abstract: Argentina continues to be the third largest producer of biotech crops, producing 14 percent of the worlds total biotech crops. Two genetically engineered events (GE) created by Argentine researchers received final approval, the virus resistant potato and the soybean with drought resistance. China’s approval of GE events continues to be a top priority for Argentine foreign trade. The seed royalty system continues to be a problematic issue; the Ministry of Agriculture submitted a new Seed Law proposal to Congress.
